It’s difficult to frequent the Chico Saturday Farmers’ Market and not notice Pyramid Farms! They are cheerful, colorful, and have some of the prettiest produce around!
Owned and operated by Mathew and Lisa, Pyramid Farms have been at the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market for about 18 years, and the two have been farming since 1997! Their farm is located just five miles from the Saturday Morning Market – it doesn’t get much more local or fresh than that!
They are enthusiastic first generation farmers who work with many local restaurants, providing fresh, organic produce. They make a true farm to table experience possible in Chico and have become respected members of the community.
Their farm is diverse, growing many varieties of fruit and vegetables, but they also raise chickens and goats! Pyramid Farms have been an organic farm from the very beginning, and became certified with C.C.O.F. in 2002. Check them out at the market this Saturday, and for more info, check out their website!
