Sneak Peek: Winter Squash Arrive on the Scene!

It’s true! The first winter squash have arrived at the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market, reminding us that cool nights are approaching and autumn is imminent. Luckily for those of us in California, however, much of what was available during summer will also bleed into autumn, creating a time of the year where we get the best of both worlds! Butternut squash and spaghetti are out in full force, and we’re just starting to see peeks of kabocha and even pumpkin! But that’s just the beginning!
