Nani’s Nutty granola is deliciously simple gourmet granola. It is full of oats, nuts and seeds that is lightly sweetened and dry roasted to perfection. Aside from being delicious, Nani’s Nutty Granola has a special and touching story.
For over 20 years, Nani had been perfecting her “top secret” granola recipe. She aimed to create something simple yet robust and delicious that she enjoyed and could share with family and friends. After Nani passed away in 2020, her family worked to find a way to honor her memory and share a part of her with the world through Nani’s Nutty Granola.
Nani was a role model and an advocate for women. She always had a positive attitude and would never shy away from hard work. Nani will forever be missed, but she will always be remembered for her spunky humor, her kind and loving spirit and her amazing granola.
The founder and owner of the business and Nani’s daughter, Tarrah, started the company in February as a way to honor her mothers who shared the special recipe with only her. The original recipes is Nani’s, but you can find granola in all sorts of flavors (including cherry chocolate chip, maple bourbon blueberry, and apple chai spice) as well as granola bars! Made right here in Chico, you can find Nani’s Nutty Granola every Saturday at the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market.
