Maker Feature: California Soulshine Designs

For lovers of beautiful, unique (and functional!) pieces of art, there is local pottery company, California Soulshine Designs. Owned and operated by Kristy Edmonds, California Soulshine Designs’ home is in Chico and has been at the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market for 8 years – but Kristy has been making pottery for 26! Gifted with a natural talent for pottery, Kristy taught the craft at an art museum before starting her own pottery business.

Every gorgeous piece you’ll find is handmade by Kristy, functional, food safe, dishwasher, and microwave safe! Her one of a kind pieces include mugs, bowls, serving platters, cheese boards, berries bowls, jewelry and a variety of jewelry holders, salt and pepper shakers, vases, wall hangings – and so much more!

Kristy only sells her pieces at the Chico Saturday Farmers’ Market, so make sure to come see her! Pro-tip: Her pottery makes great gifts, especially with the upcoming holiday season!
