The Chico Certified Farmers’ Market (CCFM) currently operates two farmers’ markets in Butte county, under the certification of the Butte County Agricultural Commissioner and the State of California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Direct Marketing Program. The CCFM brings fresh quality locally grown food, and handmade artisan products to Northern California communities at our year round markets in Chico, held on Saturdays in Downtown Chico and Wednesdays at the North Valley Plaza Shopping Center. At the Chico Certified Farmers’ Markets shoppers can find an unlimited selection of fresh picked, locally grown fruit, vegetables, nuts, honey, olive oil, rice, grass fed beef, lamb, ham, chicken, pork, eggs, herbs, flowers, plants, fresh baked artisan breads, handcrafts and prepared foods. Join us, and see for yourself!
OUR MISSION
The Chico Certified Farmers’ Market (CCFM) provides a unique opportunity for farmers and vendors to sell directly to the consumer by hosting State Certified Farmers’ Markets. Our first Farmers’ Market began in Chico, CA in July of 1980. Our market moved several times before we found our ideal home at our current location in the City of Chico Municipal Parking Lot #1 at 2nd and Wall Streets in Downtown Chico, CA.
