Rancher Feature: Divide Ranch

Owned and operated by ranchers Kathy and Mike Landini, Divide Ranch has been bringing their all natural beef to the Chico Certified Farmers’ Market for about 11 years! With 18 year of ranching under their belts, they know how to do it right! Their steers are 100% grass fed, with no antibiotics or hormones, they only use natural breeding, and all of their meat is processed at Chico State!

Divide Ranch is located in Elk Creek, west of willows in the foot hills. Kathy and Mike moved to the area from the bay and bought the ranch 21 years ago. They pride themselves on being conservation minded ranchers and have made many improvements to the ranch which was had previously been overgrazed. They’ve even won some conservation awards and speak at conservation conventions!

You can find Divide Ranch year round at the Saturday market, and usually every other week at the Wednesday market! Look for products like ribeye and New York steaks, roasts, stew meat, ground beef, short ribs and korean short ribs, broth bones, oxtail and more!
