Farmer Feature: Julia’s Fruit Stand

By 20 August 2021

Julia’s Fruit Stand is a family owned fruit stand out of Los Molinas that prides itself on growing the produce they sell.

Kathy Brandt and her husband are the owners and operators of Julia’s Fruit Stand, which was named after their daughter 21 years ago for a college fund. Outside of starting the stand 21 years ago, the family has been farming for 29 years. Their goal is to sell the very freshest and ripest produce you can get!

Julia’s fruit stand specializes in heirloom tomatoes, but they are also very proud of their peaches, nectarines, and apricots, and offer a variety of vegetables as well!

You can find Julia’s Fruit Stand at both the Saturday and Wednesday Farmer’s market, but only through October (pumpkins guaranteed!), so be sure to come visit them while you can, and keep up with them on Facebook!

Pro tip: Look out for their collab with Cedar Crest Brewing Co. – watermelon wheat beer made with Julia’s Fruit Stand watermelons
