Summer is almost over and the kids are getting ready to go back to school. New supplies are important, but so is lunch! To help make those first few weeks of getting back into the school routine easier, we’ve put together some recipes for packed lunches that are sure to knock your kid’s socks off.

Pack your kid the coolest lunch ever with one of our simple pack lunch recipes! These recipes are easy to make, nutritious, delicious, and sure to make fellow students envious.
Turkey and Veggie Roll-Ups
Ingredients:
- Whole wheat tortillas
- Sliced turkey breast
- Cream cheese or hummus
- Shredded carrots
- Baby spinach
- Sliced cucumbers
Instructions:
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or hummus over the tortilla.
- Layer with turkey slices, shredded carrots, baby spinach, and sliced cucumbers.
- Roll the tortilla tightly and slice into pinwheels.
- Pack in a lunchbox with a side of fruit.

Homemade Lunchables
Ingredients:
- Whole grain crackers
- Sliced cheese
- Sliced deli meats (turkey, ham, chicken)
- Sliced cucumbers or baby carrots
- Grapes or apple slices
Instructions:
- Arrange the crackers, cheese, deli meats, and veggies in a lunch container.
- Add a side of grapes or apple slices.
- Optionally include a small container of hummus or yogurt for dipping.

Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Whole grain bread
- Peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 banana, sliced
- Honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread.
- Layer banana slices on top of the peanut butter.
- Drizzle with honey if desired.
- Top with the second slice of bread, slice in half, and pack in a lunchbox with a side of baby carrots or celery sticks.

Veggie Pasta Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked whole wheat pasta (such as rotini or penne)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons Italian dressing
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, black olives, and mozzarella cheese.
- Drizzle with Italian dressing and toss to combine.
- Pack in a lunch container.

Sushi Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- Whole wheat bread
- Cream cheese
- Smoked salmon or deli turkey
- Thinly sliced cucumber
- Thinly sliced avocado
Instructions:
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
- Spread a layer of cream cheese on each slice.
- Layer with smoked salmon or turkey, cucumber, and avocado.
- Roll the bread tightly like a sushi roll and slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Pack with a small container of soy sauce or dipping sauce.
